How to earn in Forest Knight

Introduction

In the previous post, we talked about the game modes and mechanics in Forest Knight. But this is first and foremost a P2E game. And like in any modern P2E crypto game, you can earn. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at the few available methods to earn in the game.

Ways to earn

Forest Knight doesn’t have as much variety of ways to earn as, for example, Undead Blocks, which we wrote about recently. We have identified two main ways to earn in Forest Knight; let’s take a look.

1. Grind

One of the great things about completing levels in Forest Knight is its replayability. Sure, you can run through all the levels quickly, but the game also gives you the opportunity to improve your score. To do this, you need to pass the level with 3 stars, and you will open its more difficult version with higher rewards. So why not take advantage of this opportunity?

Every time you pass a level in Adventure, you still get rewards. This way you can easily and quickly farm items, amorians (the item you need to craft NFT chests), gold and runes. The only problem with this method is energy. Each fight will cost you energy and you will have to wait some time for it to regenerate.

While your energy is being regenerated, you can go to the rune or gold mine. The mine has an infinite number of levels, which get harder as you progress. The further you go, the higher your reward. Each trip to the mine will bring resources which you can use to improve your fighters. Upgraded fighters, in turn, will bring you more gold and runes.

This method has two disadvantages:

  • First, like in Adventure, you can’t play it continuously. You need pickaxes to descend into the mine. You have two in total. Each one takes 12 hours to restore.
  • The second is that you won’t get NFTs here. Using the resources obtained from the mine, you can only improve your character and his equipment for further grinding.

2. Merging

What is merging? In a nutshell, it is a system for improving one NFT item by burning two others. The upgraded item can acquire a new ability. You can find similar mechanics in many crypto games, such as Galaxy Fight Club, which we reviewed, or Axie Infinity.

The merging system in Forest Knight is still being developed, but Chrono Games has already presented its work and given a fairly detailed description.

Conclusion

The game has two quite unique ways to earn: with and without investment.

  • Merging. You can buy items from other players and improve them, then sell them again. This method is quite risky since the resulting weapons may not recoup the cost of three items for crafting.
  • Grind. By opening chests and taking NFTs from them, you get net earnings without investment. This method is more time-consuming, but not risky and it can be done with zero budget.

Forest Knight doesn’t have as many ways of earning as the other games. But this doesn’t cancel the fact that right now you can download it and start earning without investing, although it won’t be so fast.
